THREE men have been charged with drug offences following a number of warrants in Southampton.

Officers executed a total of five warrants at addresses in Southampton and two in Tilbuy, Essex, yesterday morning (January 29).

As a result of these warrants three men have been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

They are:

  • Seun Davies, 24, of Cowper Road, Tilbury, Essex. He has also been charged with acquiring/use or possession of criminal property.
  • Karl Burnett, 25, of Ballard Close, Southampton.
  • Darryl Thomson, 28, of Hinkler Road, Southampton.

Mr Davies and Mr Burnett are due to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court tomorrow (January 31).

Mr Thomson is due to appear at the same court on March 1.

A 26-year-old man from West End, who was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs has been released from custody but remains under investigation.

The warrants form part of Hampshire Constabulary’s ongoing Fortress campaign to tackle the harm dugs cause in the city through enforcement and partnership working.
