A THIEF is behind bars after she breached a suspended sentence order.
Rachel Hughes-Freeman was found to have stolen £140 cash and £480 worth of jewellery in Marchwood in August.
This activated an earlier sentence the 38-year-old was given for stealing more than £1,000 worth of Ted Baker purses from John Lewis, meat joints from Lidl, perfume belonging to Next, 15 bras,10 pairs of leggings and eight jumpers from from Victoria’s Secret.
Hughes-Freeman, of Warburton Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to all charges of theft against her.
She was sentenced to 32 weeks’ imprisonment, and ordered to pay £620 compensation and £115 costs at Southampton Magistrates’ Court.
