TWO lanes of a major Southampton road are being closed for emergency repair works.
Engineers are set to shut a section of Millbrook Road West heading eastbound following the discovery of a sunken cover.
The work will be carried out between the junctions with Regents Park Road and Paynes Road.
A Southampton City Council statement on social media says: "Two lanes will be temporarily closed to allow repairs.
"The closure will be in place shortly.
"We will keep you updated."
