A PAIR of saxophones worth thousands have been stolen from a music shop in Southampton.

Police are appealing for informaion after the instruments were taken from Hayes Music Shop, on Empress Road between 12.35pm and 12.55pm on March 3.

One of the saxophones is a Selmar SA-80, worth around £2,700 and the other is a Yanagisawa S901, valued at £2,485.

Hampshire Constabulary want to speak to the two individuals in the CCTV image it has released in connection with the theft.

It believes they may have information which could help with the investigation.
