SCORES of staff and pupils walked through a Hampshire town as part of a road safety campaign.
Forest Park School in Totton is taking part in the Be Bright, Be Seen initiative, which aims to ensure youngsters make themselves more visible when walking or cycling to school.
The school operates from two sites a mile apart.
Pupils at the primary site in Ringwood Road walked to the secondary site in Commercial Road and vice versa.
Head teacher Rob Hatherley dressed up as a parrot and many of the others who took part also donned colourful costumes.
He said: “All the children were incredibly well behaved and there was a lot of laughter. Some of the pupils have already asked if they can do it again.”
