A CHANDLER'S Ford-based pre-school is to celebrate a major milestone.
Peter Pan pre-school at Chandler's Ford Methodist Church is to celebrate its 50th birthday and is inviting the community to celebrate with them.
A reunion tea party is set to take place on April 28 from 2pm to 4pm.
Church member Diana Masters said: "Yes, it is 50 years since they were founded in 1968 by Dorothy Reed.It was then taken on by Veronica Vincent who ran it for many years and under her professional leadership it grew in strength and numbers to the very successful school that we have today. Many of our present congregation have been part of this success story, and have contributed over the years to the teaching and care of the hundreds of children."
Current manager Gill Hillier has invited all past assistants or pupils to attend the event.
There will also be a display of the children's activities and games.
