DOZENS of residents flocked to Eastleigh for an annual spring concert.

Barton Peveril College was packed with people on Tuesday as the college’s performing arts students showcased their work to the local community.

The event had performances from youngsters studying dance, musical theatre, jazz and popular music, the Chamber Choir, the Concert Band and Big Band, and the Soul Band who will soon be playing in a jazz evening at The Concorde Club.

The sold out event took place in the college’s Rose Theatre.

Director of performing arts Victoria Radido said: “I am incredibly proud of the quality of the work and the variety of pieces that were showcased. The students and teachers have worked really hard to put the show together and make it a success.”
