AFTER becoming an expert cocktail maker, putting together a holiday itinerary and raising hundreds for charity, a Southampton student has been rewarded with an all expenses paid trip of a lifetime.

Georgina Bush will be jetting off to Thailand this summer after completing the series of challenges and being crowned the Thaikhun #BestSummerEver winner.

The competition, which was run in partnership with STA, Singha Beer and Tourism Thailand, scoured the country to find passionate people seeking sun, sea, sand and an adventure filled summer of their dreams.

After challenging street food restaurant Thaikhun fans up and down the UK to show their love, Georgina beat numerous competitors to be one of the 10 contenders who represented their local Thaikhun site over the year in a series of challenges.

Georgina became a mixologist expert in a secret cocktail masterclass, before putting together a tip-top Thai’tinary in the second task, and raising £2,301 for charity, Sebastian’s Action Trust.

She said: "I have loved every minute of the competition and can't believe it has come to an end.

"The fact I have won the trip to Thailand is amazing and I can't thank Thaikhun enough for this phenomenal opportunity."

Lynsey Benton, Thaikhun’s head of marketing, added: "We’ve been immensely impressed with the passion and creativity demonstrated by all our ambassadors throughout the competition.

"Whilst we were blown away by Georgina’s dedication in the tasks, every single one of the ambassadors deserves a special shout out and each one has been a fantastic contender.

"We can’t wait to see how Georgina spends her time in Thailand, and we’ll be following her journey every step of the way – so keep your eyes peeled on our social channels."
