A NEW shop is set to open on Winchester High Street.
Cell Repair will take over the unit previously occupied by Zoe Jewellers.
As previous reported, the jewellers closed in July, although the reasons behind the closure are unclear.
Speaking at the time, Catherine Turness, executive director of Winchester BID, said the closure was a surprise and that the last time she spoke to the owners of Zoe Jewellers they had been doing very well.
Cell Repair, a mobile phone repair and accessories shop, will open just a few doors down from similar business Fone World, and a short walk away from iMOMAX Mobile in St George's Street.
It is also located opposite the recently approved Travelodge hotel, which is currently under construction.
It is not known yet when the store will open, although he store appears to be nearly complete, with signs being erected in past week.
