HAMPSHIRE residents are invited to a recruitment open day as a national care provider is to create 15 new jobs.

Home care provider Carewatch Southampton has launched a employment drive to meet increasing demands for its services.

The company, which provides people of all ages with approximately 100,000 hours of care each week from nearly 60 offices across the country, is now set to create 15 new jobs in Southampton, Chandlers Ford and Eastleigh.

Local residents who are interested in a career in social care are invited to the recruitment open day set to take place at the company’s office in Brunswick Place, Southampton on June 6 from 11am to 3pm.

Chris Koyman, area manager at Carewatch Southampton, said: “Quality care and support workers are key to our organisation’s services, but we need to recruit more if we are to meet the challenges of the UK’s ageing population.

“We’re looking for compassionate people to join our team of professionals, enabling our clients to retain their independence, dignity and security, in their own home. This is a demanding but fulfilling career. If you believe you have the right qualities, we’d love to hear from you.”

The recruitment open day provides an opportunity for people who are interested in a career in care to find out more. Full training will be provided to all new carers.
