POLICE have arrested a lorry driver on suspicion of drink driving after the vehicle come of the road near a busy motorway roundabout.
Officers closed a lane of Brownhill Way eastbound towards the M271 entry slip road.
The lorry was to the right of the carriageway, near to B&Q in Nursling, after colliding with the barriers.
The incident took place at around 6.40am yesterday, with police reopening the road around 12.30pm.
In a tweet, police said: "Pls [sic] be aware we're currently dealing with a lorry that has collided with a barrier on the jct 1 slip road for the M271 at Nursling. One lane of the NB (northbound) slip towards the M27 closed.
"Working to recover [the] lorry, [it] may take some time."
