LIFEBOATS went to the aid of a 40ft vessel that ran aground on the Brambles Bank in the Solent.
Cowes and Calshot lifeboats were sent to the scene after the vessel, with seven people aboard, was unable to free itself.
Calshot lifeboat was later stood down but the other boat towed the vessel into deeper water.
