PETER Symonds College awards evening saw 91 students attend to the end of an era.
Students from the 2016-2018 year group gathered one last time to celebrate their A-level successes.
Principal Sara Russel held the event to praise the group for achieving such high grades, alongside playing such an active role in the college community.
Professional quizzer Kevin Ashman, who appears on the BBC TV show Eggheads, attended the ceremony.
He said: "It’s a great honour to be invited to celebrate the successes of these students, especially as this year marks the 40th anniversary of my graduation from Peter Symonds.
"One thing that hasn’t changed is the quality of results, quality of teaching and quality of the students. Well done to all at Peter Symonds and long may it continue."
The celebrating academic year achieved a 99% pass rate across all A-level subjects, with grades high enough to compete with the very best colleges in the country.
