SOUTHERN Water has pledged £10,000 to help support a children’s hospice.
Naomi House & Jacksplace hospice in Winchester has received the pledge after being chosen as Southern Waters chosen charity for Hampshire.
The money will fund a project to renovate the hospices hydrotherapy pool, transforming it into a more sensory environment for children, young adults and their families, with bubble screens, coloured LED lights, image projectors and more.
Keith Wilson, Head of Marketing at Naomi House and Jacksplace, pictured, said: “We are over the moon that Southern Water has chosen us as its Charity of the Year.
“The hydrotherapy pool refurbishment will make a huge difference to our children, young adults and their families; providing an enhanced sensory experience, combining music, sensory and hydro therapies all under one roof.”
Southern Water will also be supporting Naomi House & Jacksplace as part of a year-long partnership, with volunteering, event participation, promotional support and employee engagement.
Beverley Thompson, Community Campaigns and Engagement Manager for Southern Water, said: “We look forward to helping with their plans.”
