KIM GARNER from Romsey will be sacrificing sleep to sing at 22 venues in 24 hours to raise money for Children in Need.
Kim alongside a group of her friends began her whirlwind concert tour last night will be finishing up at the BBC South TV studios tonight.
Kim who has been singing for six years will be supported en route by guest singers and a team of volunteers shaking buckets.
She said: “It is something different and it’s a bit of fun.”
Local businesses are supporting the Gigathon and The Priory Hospital Southampton, where Kim works, is giving her a paid day off.
All of the 22 venues have donated their space.
SHB Hire are giving a minibus and driver to transport the team and kit and Signs R Us have created signs for the vehicle.
Deon Designs have donated designs for posters and t-shirts Diguru printing have printed promotional posters and banners and Olives Direct are supplying food and drink.
