RESCUE teams were called to help a kite surfer who ran into difficulty off a Hampshire beach.
A team from Hill Head Coastguard Rescue rushed to help the kite surfer, who was out near Hill Head beach this morning, after receiving a call from a concerned witness.
The kite surfer was brought to shore, but no medical assistance was needed.
Posting on social media, a spokesperson for Hill Head Coastguard Rescue said: "Team tasked to a kite surfer in difficulties at Hill Head beach.
"Casualty recovered to the safety of the shore with no medical assistance required.
"Team now back on station.
"Thanks to the member of public who made the call."
