A MAN has been jailed for a string of offences, including trespassing in a Southampton pub and stealing cash from the pockets of staff members.
David Anthony Hayward, of Orchard Lane, Southampton, admitted to the incident on December 13, in which he stole £15.
He also pleaded guilty to damaging a radiator at Carlton Studios on December 13, and stealing four bottles of Jack Daniels whisky from Sainsbury’s in Portswood on December 3.
Magistrates then found the 45-year-old guilty of threatening a man in Southampton on December 11.
Sentencing him to a total of six months’ jail, magistrates branded him a ‘thoroughly dishonest person’.
He must also pay a £115 victim surcharge.
