A MAN has been arrested following an incident in Romsey.
Benjamin Peter Hollman, 27, of Withy Close, Romsey, has been charged with a public order offence and possession of a knife, blade/pointed article in a public place.
This comes after police officers rushed to Romsey at around 9.51pm yesterday, after reports of a fight at an address in Tavistock Close.
A spokesman for the force said: "An officer who attended was verbally threatened at the scene. A knife was also seized. Officers arrested a 27-year-old man in connection with this incident."
Hollman is due to appear before Southampton Magistrates’ Court on March 19.
