THE Daily Echo takes another glance back through time - this week to March 1999.
As can be seen in these images, local photographers were busy taking pictures of sport groups as well as children enjoying Easter.
One picture depicts Saints star Matt Le Tissier posing with Tanner’s Brook students outside Woolworths in Shirley. The school were donated sports kits by the store.
Another shot shows 14th Southampton Scouts group as it celebrated its 90th anniversary.

March 2
Singer Dusty Springfield died aged 59 after a five-year battle against breast cancer. Springfield burst onto the pop scene in 1963 with the release of I Only Want to Be with You.
March 7
Stanley Kubrick, film director, died of a heart attack aged 70. His final film, Eyes Wide Shut, was released in July 1999.
March 21
Comedian Ernie Wise, of Morecambe and Wise, died of a heart attack aged 73.
March 24
Ross Kemp signed a £1m deal with ITV. Kemp reached TV stardom as Grant Mitchell in Eastenders - a role he played for almost 10 years.
March 26
Former coal miners who were suffering from lung disease after working in British coalfields were awarded a total of £2b in compensation.
