A DEER was rescued from a pool in the garden at a Hampshire home.
A fire crew from Hamble station attended the scene at the property in School Lane at 1.15pm today (July 10)
Robert Henry, who lives in the street said: "I saw a large fire engine and one of the fire fighters told me they were going to save a trapped animal.
"I have a pool and years ago we had three deer's on the pool cover.
"Luckily, me and my wife managed to scare them away."
A spokesperson from Hampshire Fire and Rescue confirmed the incident and said: "An animal rescue advisor also attended.
"The crew left the scene at 2.05pm."
