A MAN caught with cannabis at police station in Southampton has been hit with a £300 fine.
David Gary Fraser Salmon, 42, was caught with a quantity of the class B drug at Southampton Central Police Station on August 5.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, Salmon pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis.
He was fined £300, ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £32.
The cannabis was ordered to be forfeited and destroyed.
