A HAMPSHIRE man caught with a weapon in Fareham has been detained in a youth offenders' unit.
Austin Tintin Paddock had a multi-tool in Middle Road, Park Gate, on January 13.
He also assaulted two people in the same incident.
During another incident, on May 14, Paddock assaulted an emergency work.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, the 20-year-old pleaded guilty to one count of possession of an offensive weapon.
He also pleaded guilty to two counts of assault and one count of an assault on an emergency worker.
Paddock, of New Road, Bishops Waltham, was sentenced to 32 weeks in a young offenders' institution and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £122.
