FIREFIGHTERS rushed to put out a car set alight in an arson attack.
A crew from Redbridge Fire Station raced to put out the burning Citroen Berlingo which was dumped in woods behind Coxford Community Centre in Olive Road.
Three teens were spotted running from the car shortly before it burst into flames at around 11.45am on Sunday.
According to police, the beige car was stolen from a 26-year-old woman in Crabwood Road, Redbridge at around 1am on Sunday.

Commenting on the suspected arson attack, a police spokesperson said: "This was a stolen vehicle found burnt out in the woods.
"It was a Beige Citroen Berlingo that belonged to a 26-year-old Southampton woman. The car had been stolen sometime after 1am this morning from Crabwood Road and found burnt out in Olive Road around Midday today (Sunday).
"Three youths were seen running from the scene aged in their mid to late teens and all male.
"This fire is being treated as arson.
