TRAINS were halted in Southampton last night after a car ended up on the railway line.
A confused elderly lady driver took the wrong turning and ended up on a level crossing.
Emergency services were called and trains stopped while rail staff went to the scene just of Adelaide Road, in St Denys.
They managed to remove the car before rail services could resume.
