Hampshire celebrity gardener Alan Titchmarsh has signed a new two-year deal to present his ITV1 chatshow.
The daytime programme proved a hit with viewers when it debuted in September.
ITV1's controller of daytime, Adam MacDonald, said: ''The first series of the Alan Titchmarsh Show was a supremely confident, top quality programme which established an instant rapport with the daytime audience.
''I'm sure the show will go from strength to strength over the next two years.'' Alan, who lives in Alton, will also host a Christmas special with guests including Liza Minnelli and Sir Cliff Richard.
The show is made by production company Spun Gold TV and celebrates ''the best of British''.
