A BOAT show for “serious” buyers due to be held in Southampton has been postponed.
The South Coast Boat Show was due to take place at Ocean Village from JUly 3 to July 5.
But now organisers have revealed that the event has been postponed.
They say it is in light of the challenges of a very high footfall alongside Covid-19.
MDL Ocean Village Marina manager Scott Farquharson said: “Even though the government has relaxed some of its guidelines.
"We’re taking every sensible precaution to keep our exhibitors and visitors safe.
"It’s not what we’d hoped for, but we know that all our pre-registered guests will appreciate that we’re taking their health seriously.”
New dates for the event are due to be announced early next month.
