This photograph was taken by my niece earlier this month when she visited the South Stoneham cemetery to search for my aunt's grave.
Needless to say she couldn't find it.
Her grave is a long flat one so there is no headstone protruding.
The grass was so long that most of the graves with headstones were invisible anyway.
The whole area was an absolute disgrace.
Last week I was able, for the first time in a quarter of a year, to visit my husband's grave in Eling cemetery with my niece.
What a difference.
We were both very pleasantly surprised and it all looked so lovely in the glorious sunshine.
The grass cutters have worked so hard and I would just like to say how grateful we were and to thank them most sincerely and also to the New Forest District Council for releasing the funds to make it all possible.
My first outing for 13 weeks will be treasured always.
