The Eastleigh & District Mini Soccer League is proud of our excellent record and reputation for sportsmanship and fair play amongst our teams, our ethos has been and always will be to give your children the best possible structure to enhance their first footballing experience in a safe and organised environment.

Our aim is to produce footballers for the future who not only love playing but have respect for each other, officials and everyone connected with the game.

This can only be acheived with the support of the adults concerned leading by example.99% of the time this is the case, however we have a small minority who are missing the point, and spend their Sundays shouting at the referee or arguing with the opposition.

There is no place in this League for this type of behaviour and it has to stop. I have requested the help of all the clubs to stamp out this element, the clubs have a responsility for the behaviour of their players and spectators and I am confident that they will deal with this, however in the event they cannot then the FA and the League will deal with the teams concerned and this in turn could mean some children will not be able to play football.

I therefore ask everyone to think twice before you shout at the ref, these people are not paid and without them you will not have a game at all.. try applauding good play by the opposition- just see how good it makes you feel and the effect it has upon them, lead by example.

Lets make our playing fields a pleasant place to be on a Sunday morning for everyone concerned, remember its about the childrens enjoyment after all, and trust me eveyone else will enjoy the experience a lot more.

Thanks in advance for your co operation.
