SOME of Hampshire's brightest singing stars took to the stage and shone, raising hundreds for charity.
The Star for a Night Finale welcomed a sell-out crowd to Wildern School, as Hedge End's most talented wowed judges with their finely tuned voices.
Katie Hartland was crowned winner of the under-18 competition, winning a two-hour recording session and Zoe Richardson triumphed in the over 18 contest, receiving a three hour recording session.
However, it was not just super singing that made the night a great success, more than £1,700 was raised for the St John Underhill Centre Appeal.
