MOTO MORINI will introduce two new models this spring, with another two due to follow later in the year, expanding the range of machines available to UK riders from three to seven.

First to arrive on British roads will be the Avio, pictured, a version of the Corsaro designed specially for those riding a potent V-twin for the first time.

Its Corsacorta Bialbero 1,187 cc, twin-cylinder engine has been optimised to deliver 120hp to the shaft (compared to 140hp on the standard model) and offer a full-bodied, fluid thrust at low revs, with 75.24lb/ft of torque.

Bristling with personality, this new member of the Morini family has a satin silver finish on a blue Verlicchi steel trellis frame, and features Brembo 320mm double disc bakes with four-piston callipers for ultimate stopping power.

The Avio will be available in matt grey with blue frame and black with red frame at £7,999.

Complementing the Avio is the 1200 Sport, based upon the 9 and designed by Marabese to create the classic style of 1970s mechanics with advanced technological solutions, top-flight components and an engine delivering exceptional performance.

The 1200 Sport also comes with the Franco Lambertini designed Bialbero CorsaCorta 1,187cc twin cylinder engine, tuned to develop 117hp at 8,500 rpm with 75.24lb/ft at 6,700 rpm.

Extra features include a headlight fairing, single seat unit, hydroformed swing arm, 50mm Marzocchi forks, Paioli rear shock, double tapered exhaust pipe and 320mm Brembo braking system.

The Moto Morini 1200 Sport will sell for £7,999 on the road - just £200 more than the entry level 9 model - and is available in orange/blue or British racing green/yellow.
