Children could still be in a chance of stepping aboard the world's largest cruise ship - if they get in quick.

The Southern Daily Echo has teamed up with Royal Caribbean International to celebrate the launch of Independence of the Seas - which is arriving in the UK at the end of April.

As well as being one of the first people to set foot onboard the new ship when she premieres in Southampton, the winners will get the chance to enjoy an exclusive Scouting For Girls concert onboard, courtesy of Virgin Radio.

This exclusive launch event will take place in Southampton on April 26, several days before any holidaymakers join the ship.

We are looking for budding artists aged between three and 16 to draw a picture of what they would most like to find on board.

The Daily Echo has already received some great entries, two of which are featured here, and we're extending the deadline until Monday so youngsters get a further weekend to work on their creations.

Draw an A4 colour picture and send it to us for your chance to win. Please make sure your art is clearly marked on the reverse with your name, address, telephone number and your age.

l Send your A4 colour picture to Anne Dickie, Daily Echo, Newspaper House, Test Lane, Redbridge, Southampton SO16 9JX by Monday, March 31 for your chance to win. The lucky winners will be notified by the Southern Daily Echo.
