AN articulated lorry ended up down the embankment of the A34 this morning.
Traffic was disrupted on the southbound carriageway between Three Maids Hill and Easton where the accident happened just after 9am.
Firefighters from Winchester were called to deal with the accident after reports the driver was trapped but on arrival they found he had managed to escape without serious injury.
Police were also in attendance to manage the traffic while the wreckage was recovered.
