The 'world's largest warship' has been anchored off the Hampshire coast in the past few days.

Many have flocked to see the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier as it visited the UK.

Due to its size, the 337 metre-long vessel has had to stay anchored off the coast - though sailings to and from the ship were arranged so people could get a closer look.

The US Navy ship, which cost over $13 billion (£10.9 billion) to build, is packed with a dozen of F-18 jets - which you may recognise from the film Top Gun.

USS Gerald R Ford will depart to continue operations in the Atlantic today.
