As a food lover and fan of Indian cuisine, I find great joy in discovering new flavours, textures, and culinary traditions.

And when I received an email inviting me to review an all-you-can-eat buffet, I just couldn't resist.

Cosmo has been at Westquay since 2016.

I've heard all sorts of positive chants about it from my friends, family, and colleagues.

So me and my friend decided to pop down to give it a try.

We visited the restaurant with an empty and growling stomach right after work and were greeted by the sight and aroma of sizzling grills, woks, and bubbling pots, evoking a sense of excitement and anticipation.

While I got myself a Cocolada mocktail, my friend decided to play it safe and ordered a glass of pink gin.

As we headed towards the food stations, the buffet had everything.

Whether it was an Italian meal, Chinese stir-fry, Indian curries, or Japanese dishes, you name it, and it was there.

One of the pleasures of dining at Cosmo is the freedom and flexibility the restaurant offers.

Unlike traditional dining experiences, diners can freely curate their meal.

You can explore different combinations, create your own fusion dishes, and even revisit your favourites as many times as you want.

Out of everything on the menu, we were most excited about tucking into the Chinese dishes.

I tried Szechuan chicken meatballs and salt and pepper chicken wings with some chow mein and egg fried rice. And they were all so well seasoned and crispy.

Meanwhile, my friend who had orange chicken said: "It's the best thing there." (Need I say more?)

For the first time, I also tried pandan buns, and they were fluffy, sweet, and freshly prepared. I urge you to try it, even if you are a fussy eater.

I was a little disappointed with the sushi, which was dry and unevenly cut. I really hope the quality of the sushi can be improved, because who doesn't love sushi?

The staff at the restaurant were excellent and regularly checked in with us and other guests.

Furthermore, the venue is an excellent choice for social gatherings, family outings, and celebrations.

They strive to cater for diverse dietary preferences and requirements, ensuring that each guest can find something enjoyable to feast on.
