HUNDREDS of people lined the streets of Hedge End yesterday for a 100-year-old tradition.
Hedge End Carnival kicked off its 102nd event yesterday at St John's Rec on St John's Road.
Families gathered along the road at 2.15pm for the procession which saw a number of community groups take part.
Hedge End Carnival has been running since 1921 and is run by a dedicated group of volunteers.
