A landslip has blocked all rail lines between Winchester and Micheldever.
It comes as extreme rainfall batters the area causing flooding.
A South Western Railway statement said: “Due to a landslip between Winchester and Micheldever all lines are blocked. Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
“Disruption is expected until the end of the day.“
It added: “We have been informed that there is a landslip between Winchester and Micheldever.
”This means that all lines are currently blocked.
“For further information or onward travel advice please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.
“We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey.”
