The New Forest District Council is encouraging New Forest businesses to take part in a mystery shopping scheme.
The council ran the 'Shop Doctor' programme in 2023 and it provided an opportunity for shop owners to hear feedback about their businesses and reflect on customer experience.
Last year, 78 businesses from Hythe, Lyndhurst and other areas around the New Forest took part in the programme.
Cllr Derek Tipp, portfolio holder for Economy and Planning, said: "This scheme provides a unique opportunity for these businesses to receive independent feedback on their customer service and to identify areas for improvement.
“I encourage independent retail and hospitality businesses across the district to take up this opportunity."
The opportunity is funded from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, and participation is free of charge for New Forest businesses.
