Roads are expected to be busy as fans head to St Mary's for the Saints game against Huddersfield on Saturday.
The roads will be busier than normal due to the ongoing ring road works in the city centre.
As reported, the north and west sections of the ring road surrounding East Park and Watts Park, and Solent University and the Guildhall, are affected.
The road is closed in a clockwise direction while a redesign of the route is undertaken.
A warning from Southampton Travel said: "#SaintsFC are at home today, playing @htafc, kick off at 15:00.
"Due to our Ring Road works in the City Centre, the roads will become busier before and after the match with supporters making their way to and from St Mary's Stadium."
