Paultons Park, the home of Peppa Pig World, has been awarded diamond and platinum grades for its toilets.

The theme park, in Ower, was recognised once again at the Loo of the Year Awards, winning the National Water and Theme Park Award for England category, with eight of its washrooms achieving the top platinum plus accolade.

The attraction was also one of 14 organisations to make the Champions League for the second year in a row. The league recognises entrants that were awarded five or more diamond, platinum, or platinum plus awards from at least eight facilities.

James Mancey, deputy managing director at Paultons Park, said: “Paultons Park’s continued recognition from the Loo of the Year scheme is a credit to the team at Paultons Park, who work tirelessly to ensure all of our facilities are maintained to the highest of standards.

“Attention to detail throughout the park is something we are hugely proud of, encompassing the whole attraction from our rides, beautiful open garden spaces, and the bathroom facilities. We maintain our washroom areas to the highest standards of cleanliness, meaning visitors always feel comfortable accessing key facilities throughout their visit.”

The Loo of the Year awards and associated ‘Washroom Cleaner of the Year’ awards for cleaning staff have recognised the best washrooms in Britain since 1987.
