A man has suffered a 'life-changing injury' after a crash involving a motorbike and a car in Southampton.

Police were called at 1pm on Tuesday to the collision on Acacia Road at the junction with Cypress Avenue.

The crash involved a silver Vauxhall Corsa and an orange Lexmoto motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, a 26-year-old man from Southampton, suffered a life-changing but not life-threatening injury.

Police investigations are ongoing and no arrests have been made so far.

A police spokesperson said: "We would like to speak to anyone in the area with relevant CCTV, dash cam or doorbell footage, as well as any witnesses to the collision or the moments leading up to it.
