A Chinese takeaway has shut as it awaits to be taken over by new management.

Dragon’s Den in Portsmouth Road, Woolston, is closed for business with shutters preventing entry into the establishment.

A sign on the eatery’s shutters simply states: “Under new management, coming soon.”

A printout of a certificate of incorporation is also displayed outside Dragon’s Den, reading: “The Registrar of Companies for England and Wales hereby certifies that Dragon’s Den (Woolston) LTD is this day incorporated under the Companies Act 2006 as a private company, that the company is limited by shares, and the situation of its registered office is in England and Wales.

There is no mention of the closure or new management on the takeaway's website.
