A man who damaged a police cell and stole vapes from a town supermarket is due at court. 

Judge Gee, 36, of no fixed abode pleaded guilty to five charges at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court today. 

They are burglary at Morrison's in Carisbrooke Road, Gosport where a quantity of vapes were stolen and criminal damage to a police cell on March 11.

He also admitted racially or religiously aggravated harassment, alarm or distress and assault occasioning actual bodily harm after an incident at Muzzy Barbers in Noves Avenue on March 8.

Gee pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Gregson Avenue on the same day. 

Following today’s hearing, he was remanded in custody to appear at the same court for sentencing on 2 April.
