The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

CHERYL WEAVERS, 34, of Tankerville Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to four counts of theft from a shop after £200.54 worth of sweets, cakes, roasting joints, washing products, vodka, and cleaning products were stolen from Co-Op and Sainsbury's in Southampton. She also admitted a single count of theft relating to a parcel she stole containing items worth £140 in Bridge Road. She received a 12-week sentence suspended for 12 months with 25 rehabilitation days. She was ordered to pay back £200.54 in compensation to the shops and £140 back to the owner of the parcel. 

ANNA NEGEOSCU, 36, of Solent Avenue, Lymington admitted drink driving a Nissan Leaf on Bath Road, Lymington. She received a one-year community order with 15 rehabilitation days and a 26-month driving ban. Negeoscu must also pay a £450 fine, £85 court costs and a £114 surcharge.

CHERRIE CHARLESTON, 22, of Dunbar Close, Southampton pleaded guilty to two counts of drug driving after she was caught in a VW Golf on Mayfield Road. Charleston received a one-year community order with 20 rehabilitation days and a three-year driving ban. The 22-year-old must also pay a £114 surcharge and a £40 fine. 

KAYUM SUMRA, 57, of Clovelly Road, Southampton admitted to sending an offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing message or matter. He was fined £121.

BRIAN PARKER, 58, of Shirley Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress. He also admitted to causing criminal damage to a fence. Parker received a one-year community order with 20 rehabilitation days and a £100 fine. He was given a restraining order banning him from contacting his victim for the next two years. Parker must pay £85 court costs and a £114 surcharge.
