Motorists warned as M3 set to close for structural works (Image: NQ)
Motorists have been warned as a section of the M3 near Southampton is set to close tonight for work.
National Highways says the southbound M3 will be shut between 9pm tonight and 6am tomorrow morning.
The closure will be in place between Junction 13 for Chandler's Ford and the M27.

This is so that structural work can be carried out.
The motorway will be closed again during the same period on Friday and Saturday night, as well as on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
The motorway will also be closed tonight between junctions three and four for Bagshot and Minley for drainage work.
