A country club in Fareham has opened its brand new swimming pool and spa facilities after a £7.5 million investment.

The Club at Cams Hall Estate opened the new facilities on April 1.

Aimed exclusively at adults, the new pool and spa area at the health club consist of a 16-metre pool, hydrotherapy pool, sauna and steam room with drench shower and ice experience.

This adds to the first-floor gym furnished with the latest Technogym equipment.

Additionally, the club features two dedicated studio areas hosting over 50 fitness and holistic classes per week.

The state-of-the-art facilities overlook a longstanding 18-hole golf course, as well as a separate nine-hole golf course, which have recently seen improvements made to their bunkers.

To entice new members, the club – a collection of 16 country clubs, combining championship golf courses with health and fitness facilities – is set to host an open weekend between April 26 and April 28.

It will see both members and prospective members able to experience the new wellness experiences on offer.

The Health Club will be officially opened by English Professional Golfer and Club Company Ambassador Cara Gainer who will be in attendance on the weekend, which will also feature a multitude of activities to highlight the new facilities including taster classes, gym challenges, wellness workshops and more.

Meanwhile, a bunker improvement project on the golf course was spearheaded by international golf course architect, Jonathan Gaunt, with the aim of enhancing its aesthetics and playability, making it a unique destination for golf, health, and relaxation.

Additionally, members can also look forward to the opening of the stylish Orangery restaurant in mid-April, and the poolside garden in early May where guests will be able to enjoy a calming atmosphere – providing the perfect setting to relax by the fire pit in the summer months.
