A motorist has been fined £100 after fleeing the scene of a crash - driving 40 miles with a damaged car.
Hampshire police stopped the driver in West End following a collision in Sussex.
Despite the bumper of the car just barely hanging on, the motorist was still able to journey more than 40 miles from the crash scene.
Police said that the car was issued for being used in a dangerous condition and the driver was fined.
