The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

KHALID SMAILI, 47, of Victoria Road, Netley pleaded guilty to driving without insurance, drug driving and driving without a licence. Smaili was banned from driving for 16 months and fined £1,000. He must also pay £85 court costs and a £50 surcharge. 

MACDONALD MORIASI, 26, of Millbrook Road East, Southampton admitted drink driving on Queensway, Southampton. He was caught with 108 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Mosiasi was given a one-year community order with a  26-month driving van and 160 hours of unpaid work. Moriasi must pay £85 court costs and a £114 surcharge. 

KIMARIO SIMONS, 35, of Horley Row, Horley pleaded guilty to making threats to kill after a conversation he had with a police call taker where he said the threat would be carried out. He received a two-year community order with a 30-day accredited programme and 20 rehabilitation days. He was fined £250 and must pay £364 court costs plus a £114 surcharge. He was given a restraining order banning him from contacting his victim for the next two years.

KELLY LOADER, 45, of Cleasby Close, Southampton pleaded guilty to theft from a shop after two bottles of alcohol worth £22 were stolen from Asda in Chandler's Ford. She was jailed for 15 weeks.

PAUL RUSHMER, 57, of Calshot Road, Fawley admitted to assault by beating in Southampton. He received a one-year community order with a nine-month alcohol treatment requirement and 30 rehabilitation days. Rushmer was ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £114 surcharge. 

LIAM RAY, 22, of Downton Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to drug driving on Bubb Lane. He was caught driving a Peugeot 207 with THC in his blood. He received a one-year community order with 100 hours of unpaid work and a 22-month driving ban. Ray must pay £85 court costs and a £114 surcharge.
