Urgent repair works are set to take place at Town Quay tonight.
Repairs will take place between 7pm and 6am, with a closure eastbound between French Street and Orchard Place.
Southampton Highways has advised motorists to plan journeys in advance.

A statement, a spokesperson for Southampton Travel – Southampton City Council and Balfour Beatty Highways Partnership – said: “Urgent repairs are taking place on Town Quay tonight, with an eastbound closure between French Street and Orchard Place.”
They added: “Diversion route uses High Street and Briton Street to access Platform Road. Please plan your journeys.”
