PLATFORM trainers are the future, Beverley Knight just told me so.
Beverley, who is performing in the Big Top tonight as part of the Girls' Night Out line-up, looked fantastic in a strapless powder-blue dress, animal print neck scarf and aforementioned platform trainers.
Asked who she was most looking forward to seeing, she told me she would have to make a dash to catch The Ting Tings who were due on the main stage around the same time as her performance.
She also said she wanted to see The Noisettes, who she described as "amazing".
Despite it being her first time at the festival, Bev - who is now a close personal friend (sort of) - won't be hanging around as she has to dash back to London where she will be godmother at the christening of a friend's baby.
Now THAT'S inside gossip for you!
