Police have named the cyclist who died following a collision with a lorry in Marchwood, yesterday.

He was Gary Lewis, a 22-year-old fitness instructor from Park Close, Marchwood.

At about 5.30pm yesterday, the bicycle he was riding was in collision with a white Volvo lorry in Jacobs Gutter Lane.

Mr Lewis suffered life threatening injuries and later died at Southampton General Hospital.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision.
